Boost Your Shopify Sales with Automated Inventory Checking & Repricer. The biggest issue with dropshipping is making sure that you do not sell items that are out of stock with your dropship supplier. In the industry, this is known as overselling. It does not matter which marketplace you sell on whether it’s eBay, Amazon or your own independent website like a Shopify store. If you continually sell out-of-stock items, you will continually get negative feedback and defects irrespective of which marketplace you sell on.

Well, this week’s quick video is good news. If you drop shipping on Shopify, eBay, or Amazon, or all three marketplaces as anybody following me over the years or has been around dropshipping for a while would know. Back in 2013, over 10 years ago, scarcity Manager bought out an app for eBay that automatically, continually check your supplier’s inventory and marks it out of stock when suppliers run out of stock, and also updates the price on eBay.
When your supply prices change over the years, they’ve continually added more features like research it. That’s another video that in 2020, they added a supplier inventory checking for Amazon, and now they’ve just added Shopify and also support for another 1100 Dropship supplies in the USA Canada, UK, and Europe. Let me quickly show you how it works and you can test it yourself for 14 days. For a Scarcity manager offers free 14 day trial from the Scarcity Manager homepage.
Click on the new Shopify dashboard, then link Shopify here, add your Shopify store ID and your Shopify token.
The Authority Token is automatically generated and loaded when you install the Scarcity Manager app from your Shopify admin page.
Next, click on Refresh Listing Request to import your Shopify items.
Now click on Shopify items and you’ll see the items that you have on your Shopify store.
Here you can see the items I have on this Shopify demonstration account. Here you can set upautomatic supplier repricing and automatic supplier inventory checking. First of all, for each item that you have listed on Shopify, there is a supplier button.
Click this button and here you can either enter the URL to your dropship supplier for that item. But note that to edit the URL,you must click the edit box.
When you add the supplier’s URL to the item, scarcity Manager automatically continually checks your supplier’s inventory levels for this item. And if the item runs out of stock, SM automatically makes your Shopify Listing show zero available. So buyers cannot purchase the item just like it does for eBay and Amazon. Also, know that when SMD texts your supplier has more stock for any item will automatically add more inventory so buyers can again purchase. Also, note, you do need to check the boxes, enable scarcity manager and also enable supply inventory checking for this to work.
Next, you can add a markup percentage if you wish. An SM will automatically market price on Shopify by whatever markup amount that you set.
For this demonstration, I set 35%. The big advantage of this supplier repricing is SM automatically adjustsis sell price based on the suppliers price. So when your suppliers have specials, your prices automatically drop and you become more competitive to potential buyers. You can be one of the very first sellers to offer the new sale price. – And also on the flip side,when a supply of sales ends and they put the prices back up, your prices again automatically go back up again.
So you don’t get stung with selling items too cheap that were previously onsale by your supplier, but now you know, gone back up in price.
