You need to know how to be successful on ebay? One thing I learnt a long time ago, was if you want to know how to do something fast, find people who know how to do it and spend quality time with them. Success rubs off!
If you are keen to build an eBay or e-commerce business fast, networking with successful, like minded people can save you a ton of time. Swapping stories is not just good fun, it can lead to some amazing opportunities too.
When I started doing eBay full time that is exactly what I did. I spent thousands of dollars flying literally all over the world to spend time with the most successful eBay sellers. However today you do not have to spend thousands to network with successful eBay and e-commerce sellers to learn money making through ebay.
All over the world there are now eBay meetup groups and if there is not one in your area, you might consider starting one up. It’s a fantastic place to learn and swap ideas with other like minded people.
In 2013 I founded the non profit, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane eBay and E-commerce Sellers monthly Meetup Groups and in 2015 started up the Adelaide group. I host these groups every month as well as putting on a 50 minute presentation on different subjects of building eBay businesses for everybody.
These are now the 4 largest ebay meetup groups in Australia with over 1,000 members combined and growing ever month.

I have spent years trying to reinvent the wheel with different businesses I have started over the years – some successful and some not. Whilst there is always going to be a learning curve, if we want to fast track things, we need to be able to quickly push past our blind spots – it is a case of “we don’t know what we don’t know”.
The time, money and frustration involved in learning what these blindspots are is often much greater than learning from someone who knows in the first place.
