AUTOMATIC Supplier Inventory Checking. HOW To Find DROPSHIP Suppliers TOP Selling Items

I’ll show you how to automatically stop overselling eBay dropship items in just six steps using Scarcity Manager. Automatic supplier inventory checking, We know an automated inventory management system (IMS) is an inventory software system that automates parts of the inventory management process. When dropshipping on eBay, Amazon, or any other marketplace, it’s critical to continually check your supplier’s inventory levels for every item that you’ve got listed so that you don’t continually get yourself into a situation of selling an item and then discovering that your supplier is out of stock of the item. For this reason, it’s critical that your supplier’s inventory is checked at least twice per day, 24/7/365. But the good news is, these days, this could be fully automated using software, as I’ll show you in this quick video. Back in the old days before software was available, we used to do the supply inventory checking manually using overseas virtual assistance.
Our strategy back then was our VAs would check the supplier’s inventory in batches of 200. We did 200 ’cause we discovered back then if the VAs checked more than 200 inventory items at a time, their percentage of mistakes would rapidly increase. This is another big reason or another big advantage of using software. No human error. Another big advantage of software is cost. If you’re paying, say, $1 per hour, and you have, say, 100 dropship items listed on eBay, the cost is there for $1 per day to check 100 items, or $30 per month. And that’s only checking the supplier’s inventory levels once per day. If they check twice per day, that’s $60 per hundred items. So let’s launch into it. Let’s say this is your eBay listing for a skeleton, and this is your supplier.
First, log into your Scarcity Manager account. If you don’t already have a Scarcity Manager account, you can set up a free trial account to test it out.
I’ll put a link on the screen and at the end of this video and below. Note that Scarcity Manager, or SM, as we call it, now offer an eBay API and eBay non-API solution. If that sounds like gibberish, don’t worry. It just means you can choose whether you want to have Scarcity Manager automatically update your eBay listings for you or you can have an app on your computer that automatically makes the eBay inventory updates for you. If you want to know more about that, I’ll also put a link at the end of this video. Okay, so once you’ve set up a Scarcity Manager account and linked it to your eBay account from the SM homepage, do a search for the product that you wish to have SM do the inventory checking for.
For this demonstration, I’ll search the keyword “skeleton” to find my listing. Next, click on supplier to reveal the three supplier fields.
Now copy the supplier URL from your supplier.
And note that the URL is shown at the top of your browser when you’re looking at the relevant item at your supplier’s website. In this case, the skeleton at Dropshipzone. Copy and paste this URL into SM into the supplier URL field.
Next, copy the SKU from your supplier, and again, paste it into the SM SKU field.
Next, click Save. Next, check the Enable Supplier Inventory Checking checkbox.
And the last step is to click the orange Enable Scarcity Manager button.
Note that the orange button will turn green when it’s enabled. And that’s it. SM will now automatically check the supplier’s inventory 24/7/365. If the supplier runs out of stock, SM will automatically make the eBay listing go to zero. And when the supplier gets more stock, SM will again automatically add more stock to your eBay listing, even while you’re sleeping.
