Amazon Dropshipping – Stop Overselling – LEARN HOW TO Stop in FIVE EASY STEPS
The biggest reason Amazon dropship sellers oversell items is because they don’t have an automatic process in place that makes their Amazon listings show zero available when the suppliers run out of stock. In this week’s quick video, I’ll show you in five simple steps how to stop overselling dropship products on Amazon using Scarcity Manager. For anybody new to this channel, my name’s Neil Waterhouse, I’ve been selling on Amazon for 21 years, and I’m the creator of Dropship Formula. So let’s launch straight into it. Let’s say you dropshipping this boat cover on Amazon and Dropshipzone is your supplier, to set up inventory checking using Scarcity Manager, it’s just five steps.
From the Scarcity Manager homepage, click on Amazon Dashboard.
Then Amazon Items,
And here you’ll see all your Amazon listings.
Note that, I’m assuming that you’ve already linked your Amazon account to Scarcity Manager. If you haven’t, you’ll need to do that first.
So choose one of your Amazon listings and next to each listing you’ll see Supplier Checking. Click the Supplier Checking button and you’ll see these empty fields.
Next, go to your item at your supplier’s website and copy the URL to that item from your browser, now paste that URL into Scarcity Manager. And copy the SKU number, again, from your supplier, or from your supplier’s website, and paste the SKU number into SM.
Then check the box that says Enable Supplier Inventory Checking. And the last step is to click save. Now Scarcity Manager will automatically check that listing and if your supplier runs out of stock, SM will automatically adjust your Amazon inventory so it shows zero available on Amazon.
