How To Get Buyers Email Addresses PayPal – Workaround
Transcribe of “How To Get Buyers Email Addresses PayPal – Workaround”
Hi guys, Neil Waterhouse. Last week PayPal stopped showing buyer’s e-mail addresses for all eBay sales. Up until last week. Many eBay sellers were harvesting these e-mails from PayPal. And using them for a multitude of things, from marketing to customer service.
Now the good news is, there is a simple workaround
Now the good news is, there is a simple work around. What I’m talking about is every time and item sells on eBay, eBay sends an e-mail like the one. I’ll put up on the screen and in this e-mail it shows the buyer’s e-mail address. Now, if you’re not receiving these e-mails. It’s simply because they’ve been disabled in your eBay preferences or filtered out by your e-mail program. To turn them back on again, just go to your site preferences in your eBay account and turn the feature back on.
Turn this e-mail communication off in site preferences
Many full-time sellers turn this e-mail communication off in site preferences to reduce the amount of e-mails they get every day from eBay. Some sellers also add filters to their e-mail programs to filter out these e-mails so if you’re not receiving these e-mails, check your site preferences in eBay and then also check to make sure there’s not a filter in your e-mail program that you might’ve set years ago. Programs like Gmail, Outlook, Salesforce, et cetera allow you to quickly create filters to filter out repetitive messages like items sold. That’s all for this week, whenever you’re watching this please scroll on down and leave me a comment below. Until next week, list more, sell more, this is Neil Waterhouse.
