Now, just to stop any confusion this video now is about how to find suppliers for Amazon FBA, and this is a different strategy to how we find suppliers for drop shipping. Now I’m not going to go into drop shipping in this video, ’cause I also done that many times before, but again if you missed that video about how to find drop ship suppliers I’ll put another free link on the screen down below. Okay, let’s launch straight into how to find Amazon suppliers for FBA.
For over 10 years we have just used Alibaba to find suppliers on both Amazon and Ebay
For FBA, or fulfillment by Amazon, for over 10 years we have just used Alibaba to find suppliers on both Amazon and Ebay. With those not familiar with Alibaba, Alibaba is basically a search engine to find wholesale suppliers. Although, Alibaba is based in China, you can use Alibaba to find wholesales in most countries. It might renders that we import from Ms. China, Malaysia an Vietnam. A lot of are getting caught up in early importing from China. However, the cost of labor in China goes up nearly 10 percent every year. Where the cost of labor in say Vietnam is only 59 cents per hour.

I read recently that China imports more Mazaradi’s than Ferrari’s than any other country now. So, you know that gives you an idea about their economy. Anyway, so to find a wholesaler, using Alibaba you simply just type in the key words into the search box, and hit search. In last week’s video one of the items sold over 1,000 times was an electric milk frother. So to find the wholesaler for this item just go to Alibaba.com and search for electric milk frother.
Alibaba will show you all the wholesalers for your keyword
Now Alibaba will show you all the wholesalers for your keyword. Which in this case is electric milk frother. It’ll also show; the minimum order quantities also known as the MOQ. The Price. Is the supplier verified? They’ll show you buttons so that you can contact the supplier using email, phone, and live chat. If they have live chat. One thing to know here though is, whenever you see items that have a high minimum order quantity, always remember everything is negotiable.

It’s very rare that a supplier will show you their best, lowest in their Que, and their lowest prices. Everything is negotiable. Literally Everything. Also, if you’re dealing with a new supplier, you may want to consider paying for escrow, so Alibaba does not release your funds to your supplier until your order has been inspected.
For new suppliers, use what we call the 1 and 10 strategy
For new suppliers, we normally use what we call the 1 and 10 strategy, that is we will get an inspector to inspect 1 in every 10 pieces. So, if we order say 100 pieces of an item, the inspector will randomly inspect 10 pieces. If the inspector find any issues or faults with those 10 pieces, we’ll then ask the inspector to inspect all of the items, we’ll also ask the supplier to pay for the inspection.
Now getting items inspected, or orders inspected, it’s not normally very expensive
